If mail is not being left on the server, the problem is most likely an E-mail that was sent twice.I am also getting duplicate messages sporadically.A. My mail client (MS Outlook 2002) checks the server once every 15 minutes. B. There is only one POP3 account configured in this Outlook profile. I haven't spent much time on this yet, but going from that information, I would say that there IS another possibility. When I figure out the cause, I will post it. Also, mail is not being left on the server.
If you check the Message-ID: headers of both E-mails, and they are different, the E-mail was sent twice. If they are the same, you can check the log files, and you should be able to find out what happened.
