We have our primary server holds IMAIL and we have a secundary one. Just
spool and forward. It was pretty easy to setup.

MX10 goes to primary
MX20 goes to secundary
... the second line above contradicts this line:

when primary fails, mail is delivered and hold in MX20 server until MX10
goes up.
... which says

MX20 goes to Imail primary (if it can)

once we have it back... mail will be forwared from MX20 to our brand new
MX10
... which says, again:

MX20 goes to Imail primary

So what you have described is just standard backup MX operation with no role for the Imail secondary, afaics.

When Imail primary dies, you lose the mailboxes.

How does mail ever get to "Imail secondary"?

And how does any mail in Imail secondary mailboxes get back to a new Imail primary?
