I've done a *ton* of research on this issue, and in every case, there has only been one cause (running out of the almost completely undocumented "Microsoft Mystery Resource").Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately, changing that particular registry entry seems to have no effect on the problem at hand. Any other suggestions people might have?
That definitely will not help. The "0xc0000142" is the key here, and when that code appears, it means that you are having this resource issue.IPSwitch said to re-install (the default answer when you have no clue), but that also did not help.
It's the "0xc0000142" (or just "c0000142") that you need to search on (every possible article directly related to this issue should have "0xc0000142" or "c0000142" in it).I've searched the knowledgebase both on Ipswitch, and Microsoft and can't seem to find anything.
Yes. The problem is described completely at http://www.declude.com/dq.htm . Please do not say that isn't your problem; it is. Guaranteed.Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any issues? Thank you.
Note that there is absolutely nothing else that can cause this error (if you are seeing 0xc0000142; people who do not see that code are not experiencing this issue). No bad hardware, bad installs, etc. can cause this.
I would recommend installing one of our Declude products (our free "Declude Confirm" will work just fine), as all the Declude programs include Declude Queue, which helps improve mail delivery. One of the bonuses is that it starts the SMTP32.exe process in a way that Microsoft swears will prevent the 0xc0000142 issue (although it still occurs on a handful of servers).
