We use this configuration for all clients that have an exchange server at their physical location, but want to use our hosting service's email features (anti-spam and AV) before the message ends up on their server.
What's great is, they get an extra layer of protection without buying AV for their server, or as the first layer of protection before their server, AND if their server or DSL line goes down, they can always dial up and get their mail using our webmail service as a backup. As soon as they are back online, their exchange server pulls down all their inbox messages. POPCon has never failed us, ever. It's got a couple nice protection mechanisms, and is even capable of anti-spam and AV in the Pro version, I think (never purchased that version, so I don't know if there's any additional settings concerns there). An alternative MIGHT be to set up an alias account on the exchange server that represents the same mailbox, and have iMail forward to the alias address... i think?
