I have noticed only the following 'error' in the pop log. I also note that
this error is present every time certain users check for mail, it could be
something unique to their email clients.

[space space] from xxx.xx.xxx.xx CAPA [27/Nov/2004:00:00:42] - ERR unknown or
invalid command in this state [CAPA]
user_user from xxx.xx.xxx.xx PASS **** OK [27/Nov/2004:00:00:42]
user_user from xxx.xx.xxx.xx QUIT OK [27/Nov/2004:00:00:42]

But the notable item is that all of my logs start with that error.

Now.. I've just checked my log dir [c:\usr\emwac\mail\Pop3log\] and the last
log file I have is 1041127.log.

I do not have a 28th or 29th log file.

The 27th log file ended at Nov 27 23:59:59.
The POP3S process is running, and has not been restated.

Restarting POP3S...
ok now pop3 log for Nov 29, and first item is a CAPA err like above.

What is the POP3S version that you are running.. date and size.. am I running
an obsolete version?
