More than a decade ago I had a really bad experience with plls, I used
a program that was supposed to autodetect the pll, its clocks, the
works, but it ended frying my board :( I never understood if it was
the most unfortunate coincidence or if to mess with plls its better we
know exactly the hardware we're dealing with. Anyway, that was on a
time where unlocked cpus didn't cost an arm and a leg :)
