Pour info, voici ce que je viens de trouver ds un petit Oxford unilingue
intitule Oxf dict of modern slang:

Toodle-oo (avec un D). Also tootle-oo, Brit, dated.

Goodbye. Also toodle-, tootle-pip. 1907-
Standard (the newspaper): "Toodlepip to the poor British Exec" (1983)
Origin unknown (ils feraient bien d'embaucher Judyth!); perhaps from
"toot", noun, short blast on a horn.

Enfin malheureusement ils ne donnent pas d'equivalent francais!
