Your schema seems OK. Presentation is not the best one. The wiring and
placing of parts could be better.

To get the connection running just:
Keep cool and start from scratch. Disconnect everything, delete the
bluetooth pairing or use an other USB port. Follow the wiki page to get
started.

I fried my IOIO once by inverting the power supply. Shit happens.
