I've been using ivtv-0.4.0 with linux 2.6.14 (gentoo-r7) a long
time on my mythbackend server without problem... Last week I
had a disk crash and was forced to reinstall the server.
I'm now running ivtv-0.8.0 and linux 2.6.18 (gentoo-r1) and
I have no sound on any channel... I've also tried ivtv-0.6.3
with linux 2.6.16 (gentoo-r13) with the same result... no sound
on any channel! :(
I've tried upgrading from ivtv-0.4.0 before, but always got
sound problems and reverted to the "good old 0.4.0"...
This time (with a fresh install) I'm not really interested in
going back and want to nail this problem for good!
Anyone have any leads on how to solve my problem?
Everything appears to be ok, but all my recordings i
completely silent... I'm running mythtv 0.20_pl11444 from
portage by the way...
I've attached som debug output below...
Best regards,
Magnus Hoglund
