Casper, I drafted several replies to this, but they all come around the same theme:
Mono for mono's sake, that is, constructing and deploying an app as a Mono app I have no issues with, and if it brings the linux community more capability then go for it. >From a business perspective, developing an internal, mission critical, server side app or being an ISV targeting the platform, I just wouldn't do it. Buying developer side tooling on Windows and then deploying to Linux would be the worst of both worlds.
