Wow, Casper, I don't know what Linux pragmatic crowd you're talking about, I have not seen any Linux developer (pragmatic or not) using it on a regular basis. They could care less about Mono or Java for that matter. They seem to prefer the LAMP stack, Python, Ruby, etc. At least that has been my experience, so I'm sorry, I can't take your disclaimer as a fact.
