I stand corrected, misinterpretation on my part. In fact, I use it on my Ubuntu laptop constantly. I did not know that it was written in Mono either.
I have also used F-Spot and others written in that language for that platform, but I still don't see the extra value they provide by being written in Mono. And in the enterprise world, I just do not see it. But I would love to hear about some real life examples. -- Juan Marín Otero Ingeniero de Montes Consultor SIG -------Visita mis blog en--------------------- http://programacionsig.blogspot.com --------------------------------------------------- http://guachintoneando.blogspot.com --------------------------------------------------- On Thu, Jul 2, 2009 at 9:00 AM, Weiqi Gao <[email protected]> wrote: > > Juan Marín Otero wrote: > > /*Disclaimer, uses Mono constantly through Gnome-Do etc. like the rest > > of the pragmatic Linux crowd/ > > > > Wow, Casper, I don't know what Linux pragmatic crowd you're talking > > about, I have not seen any Linux developer (pragmatic or not) using it > > on a regular basis.
