You are correct that there were DOS based utilities prior to the days of the internet. I sort of doubt that any are around these days. I used a system called CORVUS on a DOS network. No matter DOS although I'm still a big fan is getting off topic for this list. Too bad. I know there was DOS based networking utilities out there; I remember being on a network of DOS based computers somewhere, but can't remember where that was, and the machine in question was not on that network. Oh well, looks like sneaker-net is the only way; that, and sending Emails to my SBC account from my Unix account. *grin* ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 18, 2006 8:13 AM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] of routers and firewalls. > I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is no, sorry about that. > David Ferrin > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Consciousness is that annoying time between naps. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mark BurningHawk > To: [email protected] > Sent: Monday, September 18, 2006 10:25 AM > Subject: Re: [jaws-users] of routers and firewalls. > > > Just for the hell of it...
