I second Jim's comments.

My main concern at this point is to devise a short name for the Java
Development Environment for Emacs that is permanently protected against
trademarks. I like JDEE (pronounced Jay Dee Eee) because it is an acronym
for the full name and requires the least effort to implement. (I have
already made a new version of the logo on the web site simply by copying
the last E.) However, assuming it is not already trademarked, I'd like to
trademark it to protect against further infringement suits. Another
possibility is to change the name of the package to something else, e.g.,
Emacs Java Environment (EJE). This again might require trademarking to
obtain permanent protection and would provide much less continuity with the
old name. I Another approach that might not require trademarking is to
include Emacs in the name, thus EmacsJDE.
