Kiir fishy development of Equatoria Paul, SPLM/A it’s not a Dinka
organization as you put it. It belongs to all southerners, whether you
participated in the liberation or not. To mention few, Paul, many
Dinkas are suffering in this current administration of Kiir, in Warrap
state, (358) people died of hunger recently and others are dying like
chickens in Shambe port in Lakes state and they’re all Dinkas. What do
you suggest about that?
Kiir has associated with Equatorians very much, the way he developed
the three states of Equatoria. If you look at them and compare with
other states, you will believe that there must be something fishy
going on
In my opinion you’re mobilizing all Dinkas to stand along side with
current government because it’s being administered by Dinka and if
they united, it will be very difficult to defeat them by war or
elections because they‘re the majority in the country
Finally, don’t generalize the tribe, just be patient. I understand in
writing you’re from Eastern Equatoria state. Be social if you’re
educated. Joseph Makorou, Suth Sudan
Kiir free to appoint his tribe Isaiah, you should not cry for the
appointments of the president because you were a strong opponent of
federal system called for by some politicians. the same applies for
thr transitional constitution. So I would expect you to rejoice and
appreciate Kiir for his appointments. It was not that you could not
read the future like those who called for federal system. Do not
pretend you are happy in your heart. Kiir is free to appoint from his
tribe and family because people like you approved it before, so why
pretend? Tom Fakiri, Sudan

Justice for atrocities during liberation With respect to all the
people we've lost during and after the Revolution Movement, it's time
for those responsible for various atrocities to be brought to justice.
SPLA/M had laws and regulations during the struggle and it's time for
all south Sudanese to bring forward all the criminals within the party
to answer those Humanitarian Aid and Human rights abuses to the front.
Most of the officials running south Sudan right now are guilty and are
being recycled within this new nation's administration to protect
themselves and their families. Who is going to fight for those south
Sudanese looking for answers? Time to bring those stooges in front of
the Judicial System in Juba, then call on the ICC immediately! Anthony

Dinka Bor IDPs plot against Madi The Madi elders initiative to
repatriate Dinka from Nimule is not in line with the government of
South Sudan. Our coming to Madi land was not a peaceful one. We're
forced by SPLA/M politicians to come and settle here. Today the some
politicians are quiet when it comes to Dinka going home from Nimule.
In series of meetings held in Bor demanding Nimule must be secured for
Dinka settlement, we knew that in the nearest future Madi from exile
will come home and our stays here will be in a big question. Our
elders in Nimule did not attend the meetings initiated by Madi elders,
instead they met with ROSS officials who are also members of Dinka
community. In 6 hours meetings, some firearms will be flown to Nimule
and some SPLA soldiers will be deployed in the Corridor. To me as a
Dinka, this is not politics, it's a plan for genocide. Some ROSS
officials who are supposed to work for the public should stop
encouraging what I can call occupation as stipulated in the 6 hours
meetings. I came to Nimule overwhelmingly, I married to a Madi lady
and have 4 kids with her. But now I am coming to understand the course
of claiming land that does not belong to you.
The commissioner of Magwi county is worsening the matter by having
private meetings with Dinka elders in his County Headquarters in
Magwi. His word is brainwashing. As our elders keep encouraging the
community to stay, the Madi people keep getting all sorts of plots
against them every day. Instead of encouraging Dinka to fight the Madi
people, if the government of South Sudan doesn't have the budget, this
case should be forwarded to Humanitarian Agencies and International
Community for help. The Madi people will not continue to stay in exile
and our community in Nimule cannot stay so long as the land belongs to
the Madi. It's shameful for our community members to talk about
Kokora. This is not Kokora, but it's the communist wrong plan against
other people. Stephen Dut Deng, Nimule-Sudan

Nuer nepotism versus Dinka nepotism My brother in the media, Victor
Makur, has lost his reasoning compass by shamelessly and ignorantly
accusing the minister of Youth and sports of forming Youth Union and
appointing Mr. Stephen Puoch as its new president. Victor accused the
minister of nepotism. Does Mr. Victor not know that the president of
the republic appointed the chief JUSTICE and the governor of the
Central Bank all from his own area? Is that not more than nepotism. My
friend Victor, Stephen is already your president against or in favor
of your wishes, just go and congratulate him, there is no need crying
over the spilt milk. Almost all the institutions are headed by Dinkas
and nobody is complaining. Don't be short sighted. Akol is already out
of the League. He is currently in the Parliament. Forget about him,
your immediate boss is Stephen. Pray for him. Peter Pal, Juba

Many problems still here The idea of sending the south Sudan troops to
Somalia is very much similar to the aid that the south Sudan gave to
Kenya during time when Kenya was hit by natural disaster. Atr that
time there were thousands of southern Sudanese who didn't have
something to eat but their government wanted to help other citizens,
instead of feeding them first. I think objection o the south Sudan
opposition leader has served the interest and views of patriotic south
Sudanese. He is right there are so many problems that our men and
women in uniform can do here in south Sudan before we try to cure this
chronic cancer in Somalia society. it is diplomatically a good call
for south Sudan to help mend peace in Africa, however we still have
unfinished business. Jabril Kuano, Canada

Why waste our men in Somalia? Recently I read several posts by
concerned South Sudanese. One contributor said he is appalled the
minister of telecommunication is not realizing foreign companies are
ripping them off, in the hope of opening his eyes to the bigger
picture. If south Sudan has a home owned solid telecom infrastructure,
it has the potential to influence markets in Africa and the rest of
the world with a South Sudanese brand. But first the government must
be assertive and must take ownership of the parent company and then
lease contracts to distributors. South Sudan is where the poorest and
the desperate in the world can still make money. So it is important
they realize our resources are best owned by us, not by them. Another
writer puts it into perspective by critiquing the move by the infant
South Sudanese government to deploy troops in the troubled Somalia.
Why waste our brave men to the wolves? Did Somalia fight for us until
the 9th of July independence? They are not fit to solve their
internal problems so what is the point of it. If South Sudan wants to
earn a reputation it is not by exporting our troops to be killed for a
war which they have no reason to be cheered for. Instead, they must
take care of their internal problems first. It is simple logic: Make
your country safe first then your profile to restore chaos in a place
such as Somalia can be respected in Africa and internationally. I’m
not cheering to deploy our army personnel to Somalia period. It is
predictable there will be consequences if this is to be commissioned.
Our brave men are going to be vulnerable and exposed to terror while
helping them. The Americans learned their lesson once while they were
on rescue operations in Somalia and I don’t see the point of going to
the same class. It is a battlefield and our army personnel will have
clashes with militias and there will be consequences such as deaths of
civilians. They will blame you and your country for this. Stay away
and rest your guns for now. Bosco Datta, South Sudan

Does President Kiir follow his word? President previously mentioned
that the new Government will be based on qualification when appointing
candidates. The Central Bank Governor and president of High Court are
replaced by one ethnic community which means Dinka can replace Dinka
regardless of qualification that the Dinka person holds. I'm surprised
all the time Kiir stands with his ethnic group to boost his security
and long stay in power which mean other tribe are a threat to him.
Tut, South Sudan

Verify your claim on Kiir Some time I’m amazed by people's logic to
make public statements. “The South Sudan’s President, Salva Kiir's
pledge to send South Sudan troops to Somalia is a clear demonstration
of his political immaturity.” When I read this, I have to go back and
read his speech during the South Sudan Flag rising at the AU. No where
to find that he pledged to send troops to Somalia. In fact his foreign
Affair’s Minister, Deng Alor Koul made the pledge on other media
outlets. Can you tell me where The President made the pledge? Or at
least give us the source of your claimed? Angelo Atem, South Sudan
