Kenya Criminal Bank came in to loot Thanks to brother Achier for his
Article about KCB. You are right brother, I always say that KCB is
defined as Kenyan Criminal Bank because they just came in to loot
South Sudanese knowing that they are poor people with a sleeping
Government. I really supported your protest but who will listen to you
bro.? Kenyan Criminal bank is also backed-up by our Corrupt Ministers
who claim to be the shareholders. The only thing is for our President
to relieve them from Caretaking positions so that they follow KCB and
he'd appoint new Ministers to open up our South Sudan Commercial Bank.
It would be great for our Bank to cheat us than foreign Bank because
our Commercial Bank charges will remain ours. Let our Government
upgrade the Banking system and close all those criminal forex and
Central Bank opens the Money transfer and supports our Nationals to
open their forex Bureaus. That is the only way we can stop cheating
from the Bank which loots our people. Otherwise it was the good point
if there are some of our MPs who could listen to act on this matter.

Need to probe independence corruption Thank brother Lokosang for
pointing out the fact about our independence was messed up by the
groups who have hidden agenda and intended to embarrass our president
and it is true that there was giant elements of specialized corrupters
involved to access the funds that was allocated for independence
celebration of Republic of south Sudan. Though our poor president did
apologies for the mess still yet we have been seriously embarrassed
for our own make. I too agree with you that there is need for
committee to probe this scandal and those who are found involving must
be brought in to book and punished, Victor Makur Madut, South Africa

Who is a South Sudanese Citizen? According to the transitional
constitution, one is a Southern Sudanese if one of the parents (either
father or mother) or both parents, were born in the Republic of
Southern Sudan. There was also mention of dual citizenship. There is
also another issue to think about. Women genuinely married to South
Sudanese and have lived here since their marriage.
Following this argument, I am also called to ponder upon the fate of
an elderly widowed mother of four, with seven grandchildren, who has
repeatedly been denied nationality. This widow, formerly the wife of
senior government official, to date; in spite of presenting her
marriage certificate and passport cannot be granted nationality. She
has lived through our struggle and been to refugee camps through all
the wars. She has lived here for over 35yers. Since the passing on of
her late husband six years ago, she also cannot access his pension, in
spite of having the will. She can barely remember the streets of her
country because she left her country in the sixties. Others married to
south Sudanese are easily granted citizenship. Why can't she?
On two different media - both BBC and Miraya FM, I have repeatedly
heard, the discussion on nationality and the other day, on July 20, a
govt. official in the Ministry of Interior talked of dual citizenship.
Was I mistaken, because I have not seen it in the transitional
constitution.
What are the criteria for this dual citizenship? Some of these women,
have valuable skills and education that we are lacking in this
country. If so, if they are genuinely married to our men and have
those skills and education, why not allow them to work here, which
will help to fill in the gap, since majority of our women have not
received classroom education? Just a thought.. Anna Tabaan, Juba

Tired of chronic tribalism in south Thanks, Mr. Isaiah for your wise
reply to Dr. Akech. South Sudan was liberated by all South Sudanese.
No one person, family, section, clan, tribe or a region in South Sudan
can claim they struggle for them alone. People must invent a language
that will unite all of our dear brothers and sisters in our beloved
RoSS. Dear brother, you should use your PhD knowledge to unite us. You
read a lot of things about the importance of unity rather than
segregation. I am tired of the chronic tribalism in our Country. Let's
be one and face poverty that is before us currently. Dr. Akech, if
you are from greater Gogrial Community, l will ask you, what fruits
have the fighting between Apuk and Aguok in Gogrial East and West
Counties achieved since 2006? Our dear brothers and sisters have been
killing themselves for no cause, instead of sitting down and
discussing our differences peacefully? We are all equal in RoSS.
Lastly, my dear brothers and sisters, let's promote unity, love,
respect and harmony in our RoSS, so that we will prosper forever. Oh
God, bless our dear people in the Republic of South Sudan. Reec Biar

Why did SPLA run away from Abyei? Dear President of the Republic of
South Sudan, I'm very happy to hear from you the truth that Abyei
belongs to South Sudan. As the youth from Northern Bhar el Ghazal, I
personally blame our SPLA troops when they ran away from Abyei when
that's their work to protect Abyei and other Areas in South Sudan. But
you said you directed them not to fight Sudan Armed Forces because
they planned to disrupt the independence of South Sudan. Therefore,
now we have achieved our Independence, we don't need to see Arab
troops in Abyei, they should leave this land for south Sudan. If they
need any thing we are ready to stand with people of Abyei. Abraham
Lueth in Aweil Northern Bhar el Ghazal
