Broad-based government in Juba The way forward for us to have good
governance is through broad based formation of the government which is
not based on tribalistic bases but on the qualification of the
particular person so that diligent work is done to shape the new
nation and build on the spirit of nationalism because every south
Sudanese shed blood for this new country. Let president work in
collective manner than with few individuals which will actually make
work difficult for during his term of office. Nicholas Girima, South
Sudan

Last country in the world My countrymen South Sudan, let's join hands
and build up our NEW NATION to be seen like other countries in the
world. We are the last country in this world but if we continue being
corrupt using long hands to take the public funds, imagine how can a
person take $3million USD within six years. Aren't our leaders doing
that? In our country, south Sudan, I don't know where are we going??
B. John, South Sudan

Is President Kiir and Governor Kun Puoch displaying their own failures
on Youth idleness? Dear editor, allowing me to express my dismay with
what President Kiir and Upper Nile State Governor Simon Kun Puoch have
recently been saying in their public occasions regarding youths'
idleness in the Republic of South Sudan. Are the duo really aware that
the youths were affected by the 21 years of war and thus never went to
schools? What have President Kiir and governor Simon Kun Puoch done to
the youth that warrant them the authority to blame the youth on every
occasion for being idle? The President and his governor are simply
telling the youths that they have failed and have no vision for youth
development and hence have opted for blames to justify youth's
idleness on nothing else but on the innocent youths. Is president Kiir
and his governor Kun Puoch really aware of what they are saying about
their government's failure on youth issues? Instead of looking for
youth development programs that can be initiated to make the youths
economically productive, the duo have ignorantly avoided that and are
blaming the youths for not being economically productive. Have the
youths in RSS been rightfully equipped with skills, knowledge and
tools? General Kiir and Simon Kun Puoch should stop being hypocrites,
but instead, should blame themselves for youth idleness. The two
should apologize to the innocent youths of RSS who have been made
victims by President Kiir and Governor Simon Kun Puoch poor
leadership. Mading Majok, South Sudan

Leaders elected to serve the people Our leaders should know that they
were elected bythe people not to advance their own purpose nor to
make a great show in the nation or name. But were elected for only one
thing and it is to serve people of South Sudan. Adhar A. Chol,
Australia

An inclusive broad-based government It is the high time, for the
President of Republic of South Sudan (Salva Kiir) to form an inclusive
and broad-based government to avoid the previous mistakes done! South
Sudan is very rich in oil, the land is very fertile for agricultural
activities and uranium and many natural resources, therefore good
management of these resources will prosper and propel the country.
Malek Cook-Dwach, Sudan

Lakes State opposers have no objectives 1-What you have wrote against
governor Chol is null and void. You are all from others political
parties who have no objectives just only to get employment through
criticism. Many of you are in the black list of criminals here in the
state and you‘re still creating another problem.
2- Now freedom fighters of Lake state are working hard and harder to
quell down insecurity in the state. And still you’re making nonsense’s
on the website. Gov. Chol was elected and he will be voted out by the
same peoples who elected him not by the individuals who are running
after employment. When you have no political knowledge don’t show your
teeth and you don’t bite. Joseph, South Sudan

Youth of Lakes State advice Dear fellows, your letter to president- to
me personally- is ok but he is not the action point to deal with
insecurity caused by locals themselves, not from outside the nation.
We the youth of South Sudan should tackle the insecurity caused by
ourselves because youth are action point who carry out the fight not
elders.
Insecurity in Lakes state and the entire South Sudan can be addressed
by youth if we are united and work together for the better interest of
our nation, but who can do this when all of us have been blindfolded
by nepotism, tribalism and clanism. Please brothers, if you are
serious because of the insecurity, organize a rally that may
accommodate all youth from Lake state to sort out of how to stop this
problem. You can also play a great role to give advice to our own
people telling them that what they are doing is not leading us
anywhere. Toney, South Sudan
