APPRECIATION TO SOUTHSUDANNATION.COM MODERATORS. I'd like to
personally take this golden opportunity to register my utmost thanks
to those who perfectly thought of creating this website which ushered
as a means of expressing our views at our will, either in correcting
what is wrong in the government or in speaking loud against the tribal
politics people of South Sudan are going through. With this website as
a daily reader and contributor, I have been able to know how our
people are so much concerned about the well-being of our nation
through their countless articles they sent in. Please accept my
sincere appreciation and hope that after the independence of our
Nation you will continue to do more in the field of media. Michael
Mathiang Ngong, Cairo, Egypt
The birth of our new nation in two million lives Dear fellow South
Sudanese and friends around the world, may we welcome the birth of our
new nation with peaceful minds and joyful hearts. May we pray for the
independence celebration as the last step of the CPA and the
Referendum and as the beginning of our new journey. Let’s embrace this
day as the day we all have been longing for and as the day we can and
we will remember for the rest of our lives. It’s a day to wipe off
tears of our faces and look into a truthful beginning for our new
nation. It’s a day to stop mourning and start going to work. It’s a
day to begin working together for the brighter future of our next
generation. Now, it’s a time to talk less and show our heart-felt
feelings by working more. It’s a time for our leaders to lead us by
their hearts, but not by their minds. It’s a time to unite as South
Sudanese regardless of our other differences and build what our heroes
have brought to us. Some of our siblings may have their own ideologies
of what is in there for them, and not what is in there for us. Such
people cannot and will not be judged by our constitution, but by the
blood and the spirits of 2 million lives which we have lost during the
struggle. May we follow what our brothers and sisters have died for,
and may God empower us to believe in truth and continue to die for
truth. Regardless of what we all do, let’s not forget those who
sacrificed their lives for this moment. In God and unity, we will make
a better nation out of this scratch. May God guide our leaders and
bless our new nation. In two million lives, we celebrate the
independence. Best regards, Kiir Akol, USA
Call for Federalism in South Sudan Brother Bor Gatwich, you said it
all. This article is representative of the voice of all the people of
the South Sudan. Long live Southern Sudan, long live the Republic of
South Sudan, come July 9, long live all the Southern Sudanese people.
May God continue to extend to you His grace and mercy and richly bless
you. John A. Mawa, USA
A fair constitution for south Well articulated brother, this is way to
go! I think our President is a man of wisdom and I hope he should
listen and heed to people's choice and establish a just and fare
constitution for our new nation. "OH YES" this is the time we need to
prove Khartoum wrong by creating viable democratic nation free of
dictator. Martin Ringos, Canada
Message for Gov. Chol to resign Yes, Laat you have spoken. I hope your
message is understood they way you presented it. James Magok, South
Sudan
Gov. Chol thinking contaminated Mr. Laat Ayiei Jal, you deserve that
manhood and position you stated, saying the truth from our community
is like digging a grave for oneself and I don't personally know
whether it is fear or anything else. I support your idea of telling
Eng. Chol Tong to resign as well as some of his cabinet because they
are doing nothing. I believe that the Governor's 'THINKING CAPACITY'
from day one he took over the power was contaminated by illiterate
personnel he appointed to his government, living with bad persons will
also reflect on the other. Since then up to now, security meetings are
always held in secretariat general and out of which, only budgeting
it, is the cabinet's honey to their ears, leave implementation alone.
Now if the governor is confused between reshuffling or leaving
redundant cabinet in their positions, then he should resign for his
future endeavor and to save lives of innocent citizens by allowing
good and able decision makers to rule the state. Apuk Deng, South
Sudan
Genocide in Nuba Mts. As long as the Nubian were struggling to fight
for their freedom with (SPLM), now the Khartoum government bombing in
Nuba mountains and for which nobody is raising a protest about about
it, I think this is genocide by killing innocent peope. Mubarak Kuku,
Nuba Mts.
Ignorance and poverty are diseases amongst people of south Sudan Mr.
John, your idea makes no sense in modern world today. There is no
Acholi of Uganda, Nuer of Ethiopia, Anyuak of Ethiopia claiming any
resources in south Sudan and those people have their own countries
with resources more than ours. Therefore a person who enjoys stability
can not claim rights where there is instability. I advice you to leave
this topic to Acholi people, Nuer people and Anyuak people to raise
these issues, and you may be jealous as Dinka people normally are to
other tribes. Juma, South Sudan
All roads lead to Juba on July 9 Mr. George L Awongiro, July9,2011 is
a no-wait time. The GOSS is a struggle-in-making. Buy your own ticket
and join the celebration. There were so many ways we use to get to
Khartoum from the south, of course, rule out walking. Patriotism and
....could have a common mode of transport. That's is how the gallant
SPLA used it. See you in Juba. Otim, L. Canada
