I have downloaded revision 9796 from SVN, updated the PO file and built the 
app, and 
everything seems to work OK   (clapping hands)

Yes, it's doing so. The contents (views chosen) are lost, but it works great. I 
recall than in a 
previous (end of July) version, I have to close Jmol and specify language in 
the command 
line to get the language changed to English. This is much better.


A single caveat: it seems that the "compressing large data file to" message is 
no longer 
appearing at the log. The file gets compressed and sevaed correctly.
Please, check that, Jonathan.


Bob, the applet console top menu (Help) is also working OK, localized and with 
keyboard 
accelerators.
