I used to be exactly the same and still am to cartain extent but no longer to the
point it cripples me.
Keeping at the therapy really helped get my self esteem up and also helped me
learn different thoughts and attitudes. Mediatation also helps a lot. I us the
type(the only one that worked for me) where you repeat a matra(meaningless word)
inside your head. You'd be surprised how quickly your breathing slows and how
quickly 20 mins passes by.

However, the major help was the changes in my belief system and attitude to
myself and the world around me.
