I had figured he was talking about the settop boxes and DVRs which
are running Windows. Probably on 7/24 like Comcast DVR and Tivo.

Which brings up a question, does anyone have MythTV setup to sleep
when not recording? It would make sense to have a DVR sleep when
there's nothing due to record and expected no-use periods are set.
MythTV especially frontends since I've moved my backend to a test
server and will be updating my raid box to include the MythTV
backend and ZoneMinder security system so sleeping is not an option
there.
