One of our chapter members, Sam Hoskins of SAL #22, a Q200, had a
similar problem and came up with a fix. Mine seems to be programmed now
using my Android phone. His fix follows. May not seem logical but it
is exactly as his hand written note e-mailed to me reads.
1 set phone to airplane mode
2 restart phone
3 turn skybeacon off
4 turn phone on with wifi (sounds redundant, I just insured wifi was
turned on)
5 open skybeacon app
6 turn on skybeacon
At that point my skybeacon app responded and by accidentally pressing
all the right buttons it said the unit is configured.
Test flight to follow but probably not today as scattered showers keep
moving through.
