The name of Bounty has been changed in the UK to Plenty.

I had success in deodorising a book by placing it vertically in a box with the pages fanned out so there was space between them, and putting it outside during the day on warm days, making sure it wasn't in direct sunlight. Took a couple of months because the days need to be low humidity, warm and with slight air movement.

I also had some success by putting a book in a paper bag, also vertical with the pages fanned, with a pot of solid deodorizer designed to absorb the smell of tobacco from rooms. That took about a year.

Decided it's too much bother, so now I don't buy a book that smells.

Please note, I've use both spellings of deodorize/deodorise. I get really cross when I google a word ending in 'ise', and get the question "did you mean 'ize'?" No I didn't! I use English spelling not American, and my spell checker accepts 'ise' without question, while highlighting 'ize' as incorrect.
