Maybe because a lot of fans like Killkenny, so he is making the right noises about keeping him so he doesn't get any stick, then offering less than the going rate knowing it won't be accepted.
You have to wonder if Grayson rates Killkenny after the way he has treated him over the last couple of seasons. There have been plenty of times where Killkenny has been left out and the midfield has struggled as a result. He has been brought on as sub and changed the game and still been left out for the next game. There were times I was left wondering if Grayson, a defender, has the first clue about how to organise a midfield. He seems to have spells where he perseveres with players in positions when it is obviously not working, Amdy fucking Faye for one, and we have to endure a slump whilst he works it out. But, give him his due, he usually puts it right eventually. Whatever the reasons are for BJ and Killkenny leaving I just want it over with now, it's time to move on. I hate the off season. We need a couple of inspired signings to give us confidence. Si. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ian Murray Bannan is quality. He'll never sign for us though, he came to play and bench warmed so that that pile of shit Livermore could start. I'm an SG fan but he got that massively, massively wrong. Re Kilkenny - clearly SG wanted to re-sign him, or why the offer at all? He's let the players go he doesn't want. Like Naylor.
