Solved!
I've downloaded GRACE newly from CVS and then the make stopped at the executable
"buildinfo" that was wrongly linked against the libraries. I fiddled a bit with my
library files (ld.so.conf and /sbin/ldconfig).
Got it to work finally.
Conclusion: lesstif CVS is actually doing fine!
