Silly me.

What I should have said is that I am amazed that people in this country
would object to the American military which goes to great sacrifice to
secure liberty for people all around the world, people who would otherwise
live under the most evil of tyrannies. I am amazed that people in this
country would object to the Department of Defense which serves to coordinate
and oversee the efforts of our military which protects us from those would
destroy our way of life. I'm amazed that people in this country would object
to NASA which carries us into the future and brings us knowledge of the vast
and as yet uncharted universe.

See, anything is defensible. It doesn't matter if the taxpayer has to go
broke. We have a moral obligation to pay for all these things!

In case you couldn't figure it out, I'm not for the war in Iraq - never
have been, never will be. I"m a libertarian and a Libertarian both morally
and ethically.

First, you are not forced into any "state of indebtedness" by this
  sale....and sale it was.

*YOU* are forced into a state of indebtedness by your government spending
*1
billion dollars a week in Iraq*, though.

You *WILL be forced* into a deper state when the 6 *trillion* dollar price
tag comes due to replace the war materials and machinery used up in this
'war' that has not come due yet.

You *ARE* forced into a much greater state of indebtedness because your
Vice
President's company provides *almost every service and piece* of equipment
to this 'war' under a no-bid contract.

You *will be* forced into even more indebtedness by the proposed 12 *
trillion* dollar joy ride to Mars.

You worry over small things you have no authority or power to change.
Would
it feel better if you were proven correct, yet *still paid the tab* on
this
deal with the Ute? Cause that the *best you will get.*
  **
You want this deal to end because *YOU* weren't alive when it was struck?
*
YOU* weren't alive when *MANY things* were agreed to by our
government...but
*YOU* are* not the Government*, and their agreements stand regardless of *
YOU* not being around when they were signed.

  .
