Basically although the constitution gives federal authority to
establish ( not build or operate necessarily) post roads, there is
far from enough roads that have been built for that purpose, the over
14,000 miles of interstate system took a lot of peoples's homes,
businesses and farms including Indians, wiping out whole communities,
they should be returned to the ownership of the local community which
can decided how to operate their section of the road, any disputes
from victims of eminet domain abuse or fraud can be negotiated within
the local community or settled in the
courts.
In fact I think it would be better for most government assets
to, be turned over to local community control, roads, public
schools, public universities and colleges, post offices, National
and State, county and city parks and forest, stste, county and city
indutrial parks, Agriculture stations and agencies, public housing,
most public buildings, government ports, docks, government utilties,
dams ( especially TVA and Army Cop of Engineers dams and utilties)
pipe lines, even miltary bases, PBS and NPR stations etc. All debt
including bonds, treaty debt, repreation claims, social security/
medicare would follow the government assets of the federal, state,
county and local government to be negotiated by the people from the
bottom /up or mediated or fought through the courts allowing a fully
informed jury and the right of every citizen to petion the courts
with proper provided council when necessary for redress of
grievences.--- In [email protected], "John Stroebel"
