dont agree. you are placing self onwership as a value above
societal responsiblity. all I am saying is the public generally does
not. if the LP wants to acutally have any meaningful participation in
the political system it needs to be representative of what people want.

and responsiblity need not include collective ownership. helmet laws do
not enforce collective ownership, rather punitive means for stupid
behavior.
