No, the Geneva Conventions do not authorize attacking civilian homes.
They say nothing of the kind. Article 53 specifically forbids damaging
civilian or government property. Military forces are allowed to attack
an enemy while the enemy is present. But no Hezbollah army was operating
out of the civilian airport.
