Sound does not end

Instead of sound(x).fadeOut(), try sound(x).fadeTo() and see if that works. On the 
frame before the quit frame use:
on exitFrame
  sound(4).fadeTo(0, 1000) -- the first number is the volume you're fading to, and the 
second is the duration of the fade in
milliseconds
end

on the exit frame use:
on exitFrame
  if sound(4).volume=0 then halt
  go to the frame
end
