Is there anything you don't do cordially? ;) I didn't mean to imply that you can't learn at all from them, I just meant that for beginner users I view them as not the most useful. But of course opinions and experience may vary. My time in tech support taught me that more often people get confused when reading behaviors as they aren't sure what's important and what's not. I took way too many calls with people ranting and raving over how they couldn't figure something out by reading the behavior script when I could describe it by itself clearly in a few minutes. That experience is the source of my current feelings regarding behaviors being instructional tools in addition to being functional tools.
Once you have a good base level of Lingo understanding, then I see the behaviors as that leg-up to getting to an intermediate level with Lingo. Opinions stated are mine though and in no way reflective of any MACR stance on the issue.
