Ok... so here's a simplified version of the problem.

Imagine a director movie with one vector "curve" on the stage. Pretend
it is sprite(1).

Now imagine another sprite on the stage ... sprite(2) that is a small
spot.

All I want is for the small spot to act as a drag handle for
sprite(1).member.curve[1].vertex[1]

You would think it would be easy!

But no.....

* There is the issue of "mapmembertostage()" because the coordinate
systems are different.

* Then, we have the fact that "movevertex" only takes a delta, not an
absolute location.

* And of course, at some point we need to move the vertex to be under
sprite(2) at the beginning so they line up... or we need to put
sprite(2) to move to wherever the first vertex is... (mapping again?)

Ack. My head hurts. I am working through it slowly thanks to an example
from someone here but that example has a lot to it I don't understand
(it does a lot more than just this and was written for another purpose)
so I am as confused by it as helped right now.

Anyone have a nice simple example of something like this?
