To solve your problem:
Create a text member and place it where
you would like to see it on rollover.
Make a note of the sprite channel (say 5) and the
locV (say 350) of this sprite and then move it above
and out of the stage.
The command to make it appear will be
attached to your rollover button:
on mouseEnter me
sprite(5).locV = 350
end
on mouseLeave me
sprite(5). locV = - 1000
end
