Hi guys,

Today I got my CHIP issue and tried with this new stuff (BeOS 5). It does not auto
detect my
SiS6215 Card, but my sound card (Creative Ensonique 1371) was autodetected and
configured.
Graphical interface starts using greyscale server with 640x480 resolution. No Colours.

If I directly clicked the BeOS5 icon on the desktop than the initial BeOS screen comes
and
then the machine hangs. Now I am booting BeOS through the boot disk, which is the best
option
to boot BeOS rather than going into windos and clicking that bloody icon.

I Was able to connect to the net. No problems on this at all. Even downloaded the mail.
It looks to be much better than windows. Only thing it lacks is applications.
