I don't know about RedHat, but I guess it's the same with all
distributions. First of all, you've got to install the XF86_S3 server.
Assuming that you've already done that, next thing you've got to do is
change the simbolic link (/var/X11R6/bin/X) so that it'll point to
/usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_S3 (I guess this is also done by xf86config). I've
got the same video card, and I'm using it without specifing and DAC
type...
"Xvidtune" should be run under X, not from the console...
