One would hope so.
In my own experience, I had trouble with X under RH 4, perhaps due to my
inability to provide the required video card info. I looked in the manual, I
looked on the web site, and I looked at the chips on the card. I still had no
answer. Recently, I installed RH 5.1. It automatically and correctly determined
the all the required info.
My recommendation to Shane is to get RH 5.x.
Just one newbie's $0.02 worth.
