I normaly refrain from ansering questions about X because there are "many"
subscribed here who are more informative than i on this subject, however the
above statement is meant well but is not quite true.
Slackware (correct me if i am wrong) included (or may be even wrote)
xf86config, Redhat include it in thier distribution. Redhat have developed
Xconfigurator and i belive XF86Setup.
If i were to recomend a program i would say *xf86config* as that seems to
configure hardware Xconfigurator wont, he only drawback is that to use
xf86config you need to know what hardware you have and what its capable of.
There are of course other programs like SuperProbe and viditune for video
cards, there are possably more which i have never even thought about.
On a completly different note;
I am not trying to be rude with this message, i say this because someone
(cant remember who) sent me a personal mail this week saying "more or less"
that i was being rude when i corrected someone on thier advice about a
question asked, of course its not my intention to be rude but "informative".
Thats what this list is for is'nt it.???.
