Unfortunately, most people are ignorant at times (myself included).
Perhaps the answer to this is either people take a couple of extra
seconds to see what they are doing, or, use an "above average" MUA,
such as Gnus. :-)

It's that ignorance thing again. If only there was some way we could
make people save messages that they are told to save...

There is even an answer for this. Somewhere out there on the 'net
somebody has come up with a program (yes it's Linux) that stops those
horrible banner advertisements from loading. Sorry, I can't give you
a URL or even a name. A friend of mine has it and I haven't yet taken
a look at it. But he tells me that it decreases the time it takes to
dl a web page quite significantly.
