Hum, I recently buy a new computer and from reading the user's guide in 
Italian (and other languages) there is no evidence of that.
Now if you are telling us that English is the international language for 
business and IT industry I'am OK with that.

And sometimes French words have been adopted (and transformed) in English and 
are now used back in French. 

The most active community  for translation in French is the French part of 
Canada, and for them this is kind of  a "survival of their culture" thing.

Don't we all use the same machines, mainly made in Asia, and as far as I know 
Italy is not a cofee producer ?  ;-)  
OK; difference may come from the water :-) other explanations ?
