Putting quality software on noname hardware and broaden the market for Ubuntu in the least cost segment. Android did that to the phone market. Google TV is trying to do the same to media. And Ubuntu is trying to latch on to it's coat tails via hardware. Google may or maynot enter the hardware market. If they do Ubuntu and other brands will have their market share massacred.
