I think I have to agree with him. I have the 2nd biggest Gundam collection I've ever known, but honestly, I don't know why I collect that much, mysterious huh?

Maybe when he says it is a 'poorly made work', he is simply comparing the quality of the drawings to all the 3D computer graphics nowadays, which we have to agree is wonders compared to the original show.

Gundam is mysterious, is popular for reasons unknown, and is a poorly made work. Hem and haw about it all you want, but his answer is what it is, and that fact he goes on to talk about anime in general in the next breath doesn't change that.
