you think some people get rich, like Bill Gates rich? They anticipate
the future, the needs and trends. Biotech, for example.
The whole initial point of the discussion for me has been what is
believable considering the future, not what is probable considering the
present. Yes, from the present everything in Gundam save for space
colonies and fusion is bullshit. But I look at the rest (mechs, space
battleships, war) and I don't see anything that wouldn't work in basic
terms. I look at something like Star Wars and I see most of that stuff
not working as presented. Big difference.
