Well on that note.

SD Gundam Scad Hammer has been my top game on the Wii for a few weeks
now, displacing Wii Sports.

Last few nights were classics, the wife plays "Hammer" (as she calls
it) while I build kits. Of course I have to stop many times to
explain obvious stuffs to her. Like you have to destroy the green
tank (Magella-Attack) twice since the turret can survive as a fighter;
or it's your job to protect the yellow plane (Mydia) against those
three black robots (Doms); or once you finish South America you can
play those white "friend" (GM) who have been helping you.

It's an excellent combination of nostalgic indulgence (for me), parody
(for wife) and FUN (for us).

Since wife has been hogging the Wii, I've finally finished the MG
Ball. Feeling it's somewhat of a let-down, the arms are really only
HGUC or even sub-HG quality.

And now nearly finishing (without painting) Wave's Tachikoma.
Painting is required, but the kit is very paint-friendly, as you
aren't forced to paint light color on dark plastic or deal with
pre-chromed/painted parts like in Type-100 kits.

The reason I (finally) prioritize the Tachikoma is to make up my mind
about getting the Optical Camouflage version, Uchikoma and Jigabachi
AV. The result is camouflage ver = still need to sleep over it,
Uchikoma = no (overpriced), Jigabachi AV = YES! Now will there be
more GITS kits, say for the tank from the movie?

OTOH, I look at the various offerings from Wave and find that, just
like Bandai, the toys division is squeezing the hobby division's
market. For only double the price of the kit I could get the same
Tachikoma finished and beautifully painted.

OTOH (yet again), while this model is very nice for its size, there's
definitely room for a "MG" kit with movable fingers, better eyeballs,
hatch doors and even a cockpit and/or LED lights.
