Again I am also starting to repeat myself...

I don't want to discourage you from having and sharing your view. But
IMHO, these sudden surprises are fine by me. We have different levels
of fog here. Azadistan doesn't know UN's agenda, the world doesn't
know CB's true motive, and even GM's don't know about other parts of
CB (ie. the TM) and the grand scheme. We the audience know a bit more
than Big 3, JNN, Azadistan etc, but a bit less than Sumeragi/Wang
Liu-Mei gang. Several characters have complicated backstories, there
are many many questions that needs answering. All fine.

I am not happy with the existing episodes (1-17), independent of how
the story will continue or end. Hopefully there is a good story in
the end, all these hidden backstories, open-ends and secret schemes
will be uncovered one-by-one and woven into a coherent web. I
acknowledge ep.17 _could_ be the transition point into a brilliant
series. But whatever happen in 18 and onward, that's very unlikely to
change my judgment that ep. 1-17 had been poorly written and directed.
