We're not asking for full explanations. We're not even asking for minimal
explanations. We're asking for proper foreshadowing and setting up. If you
don't do that, then yes, it looks very much as if you're making it up as you go
along. And that's one of the reasons why people have concerns about the series.

Maybe there will be events in season one that make sense in the context of
being seen in season two. But so far there haven't been any earlier events
that make sense after viewing episode 17. Or episide 16, 15, etc... And
that's quite a while. But there's been not one thing that I can think of to
date where an action or event in the show helped explain something that took
place earlier.

Instead, we get Deus Ex Machina events, in which things that haven't so much as
even been hinted at suddenly come out of nowhere and save the day when things
look grim for the Gundam Meisters. The first appearence of the Thrones was
one. Gundam Nadeelah (sp?) was another.

Would it have really been that hard for the writers to drop a vague hint that
Gundam Virtue was more than it appeared?

A good example from an earlier successful series is Rau la Cruze (I probably
mangled his name) in Gundam SEED. You get hints early on that he's up to no
good, and that's seemingly born out when he's revealed as leaking information
to Blue Cosmos. But it's not until the end of the series that you realize just
how far gone he is.

I don't understand where people think he's pulling this all out of his
ass. I think people seem to forget that season one is a segway into
season two, so not much is SUPPOSE to be explained in this season.
Personally I have no problem with it whatsoever. I guess most people who
are hardened UC seem to be disappointed with this. I guess the UC
elitists just won't die."
