Okay, I sent off that message last night with out stating a
  few small qualifications.

First, preferably, a single person is given the password to
the site who is ultimately responsible for the well being of
the entire site. This would be the Site Administrator
above. They have final say over decisions about the site.

It would be great to form a rebol.org development group
which might elect this administrator for a term. A mailing
list can be established for this group. They can break down
development tasks among themselves, brainstorm, etc.
Perhaps the various people developing stuff for the site can
upload files via authenticated http into designated
directories. Of course, it should be established that
everything is tested off site before it goes into operation.

One other important ground rule is that everything has got
to be done with REBOL. No name-your-other-script
  language allowed !!! (-:

Of course, we at REBOL Tech. will lend as much direct
support as possible, and would certainly like to contribute
items to the cause when possible.

So, does this approach still interest people? I would be
happy to immediately set up another selma list here for the
rebol.org group if three or more people are interested in
getting involved in this effort? (Dare I ask for people to
"me-to" on this on the mailing list??) ;-)

AND THANKS YOU GUYS, for showing interest in helping to
improve rebol.org! My faith in humanity is reaching new
  heights!
