I use a spare halyard to lift my dink out of the water and put her upside down on the foredeck. The 4hp motor is taken off first and stowed.
I made a three point lifting bridle. (Trial and error on the bridle legs gave me the proper balance). I pull her alongside, hook in the quick disconnect and a few turns on the halyard winch and she's aboard. A couple of rachet straps across the dink and she's secure enough to ride out some very nasty weather. The main problem I had was with fouled sheets as I tacked, but a small line in the right place prevents fouling. Rit s.v. LaVida CD33 No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
