OK... but I don't understand how this pertains. Is this some sort of a
"clean hands" argument, where no one but those who are themselves
perfect in every way can claim injury?

Is there a reason you're bringing this up? I'm not asking because it
causes me any discomfort or embarassment, but because, again, I'm truly
puzzled. In the first case, as sorry as I may feel for the American
Indians, I bear no responsibility whatsoever for those actions, and you
have never seen me justifying or defending them (side note: among the
odd results of my wild careening through this life is the fact that I'm
an honorary Sioux Indian. Can't wear eagle feathers - gotta be born into
the tribe - but I am indeed ranked a warrior. Longish story, that one.)
As to the second, I'm neither a Zionist nor an Israeli citizen, and -
again - have not tried to justify or defend those actions. So... what
was your point here?

Agreed - although there is such a thing as justifiable violence.

That's what I'd like to see myself.
