I'm just playing with it now. I like the method of creating a multi-session CD so you can override existing files. I was "afraid" I'd end up having to rebuild the LFS system or at least the squashfs image part. That would be more of a hassle. But so far so good. If this doesn't end up working out I'll let you know.

I will need the customized kernel else this livecd isn't going to work for me and I'll have to go the way of rebuilding the core LFS system on it too. Or can I use the same method and simply overwrite the kernel image by adding a new file boot/isolinux/linux to the 2nd ISO? Or isn't that going to work as expected.
