Sorry... I'm not really in a position to be able to accept any funds
unless it's in an unofficial format like cash or bitcoin. And we'll
probably want to be doing this thing "by the book" so it has to be
someone else...

Bit of exaggeration there... I'm not really even a programmer, just a
problem solver. I'm good at coming up with creative solutions to
problems, the follow-through is a whole another matter...
I do know a big part of the LMMS codebase by now, but that's only
because I've been hacking at it since last spring or so. So the thing
is, I'm good at solving problems, making up plans about how to fix our
issues, designing infrastructure and GUI - and even doing some coding on
my own, which is a thing I'm just sort of learning as I go - that's my
usual approach to learning things... but I can't be the one organizing
the fundraising or hiring of the programmer, that needs to be done by
someone else - partly because what I already mentioned, and partly also
because I'm only one person and really can't be doing everything...
That's why we really need someone reliable to step up and handle the
gathering of funds and the legal side and all that - hey, don't we
already have tons of people around who'd love to contribute to LMMS
development but don't know how to code, here's a chance for someone to
really make a difference...
